How much better can it sound than CM's remaster? There has to be a few good shows left in the vault that haven't been leaked yet?

Excellent point--you know there are shows that only a handful of folks have heard. They'll hold onto the "unheard" vault tapes until the very end of Western civilization.

yea. I'm listening to it now, and while there is a cassette gen in the lineage, it sounds DAMN GOOD to me! And I have a pretty revealing system... parasound dac, pre, and poweramp, magnepan 1.6qr's, and mit cables.

That said, an upgrade will be very welcome! it is a great show, after all. :)

I don't think i've posted here in a couple years, i wonder what's gotten into me..,.??..

What we have for 11/21/73 in circulation:
SBD -> Master Reel -> Cassette -> Dat -> CD

11/20/73 already circulates directly from the Master Reel.

So it makes sense to release all of 11/21 over 11/20.
I'm still sort of scratching my head over the fact of having both Truckin' sequences on the same disc but they kept the flow of 11/21 intact that way. Yeah, I can deal with that!
